I'm building a startup
Pre-seed to Series A. Founder-led.
You don't need a brand yet. You need paying customers and a story that raises money, in that order. I've done both from a blank page. I built the pitch deck and the brand that raised the seed round for a hemp company, launched it in under six months, and took it to $1.5M in revenue and 100+ stores in eighteen months. The brand mattered because it sold product and closed investors, and for no other reason.
A positioning you can say in one sentence, a deck investors actually finish, and one customer channel with a number on it.
You're pre-idea, or you want a logo before you've talked to ten customers.
I run an established business
Owner-operated, real revenue, under 50 people.
You're excellent at the work. The business is capturing a fraction of what it could, and you know it. That's the pattern I've spent my career fixing. Apotheca was a dozen tired head shops with good locations and no story. I rebuilt it into an alternative-health brand before CBD went mainstream, opened five locations in a year, and the model has since grown to over 60 stores in four states. I don't come in with a campaign. I come in and find where the money's leaking and where the bigger version already is.
The two or three moves worth making, built and running, each with a number attached so you know if it's working.
You want the cheapest hands, or a refresh with no growth behind it.
I run a nonprofit
Mission-driven, board-led, always short on capacity.
Your mission isn't the problem. Capacity is. At Unique Places to Save, a conservation nonprofit, I've supported the organization as it grew into the largest U.S. nonprofit holding mitigation conservation easements, with a one-person development function and AI doing the work of a team. Restored river miles up 155%. Projects up 82%. Acres conserved up 63%. I also do the brand and the story, because that's what makes the ask land when you finally get the meeting.
A corporate partner pipeline that's actually running, and a story you're proud to send.
You need a grant writer. That's not me. I build the pipeline that gets you in the room.
It's just me
Doctors, lawyers, consultants, therapists, advisors. You are the product.
You are the business. Every hour you spend on marketing is an hour you're not billing, and you're probably doing it at 10pm. I build the machine around you: positioning that makes you the obvious choice, a website and the AI answers that send the right people your way, and follow-up that runs while you're with clients. Then I measure it in booked clients, not likes.
The right people finding you, booking without phone tag, and a rate you've stopped apologizing for.
You want to stay a secret. Some people do, and that's fine.
